The Hope Florida Foundation, Inc. (“Foundation”) is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 93-3379025 and serves as the direct support organization for the Florida Department of Children and Families (“Department”). The sole purpose of the Foundation is to support the Department, and it solicits funds solely on behalf of the Department. Nevertheless, donations are to the Foundation and not to the Department. In keeping with the material provisions of its contract with the Department, the Foundation shall conduct programs and activities; raise funds; request and receive grants, gifts, and bequests of moneys; acquire, receive, hold, invest, and administer, in its own name, securities, funds, objects of value, or other property, real or personal; and make expenditures to or for the direct or indirect benefit of the Department and the individuals it serves.
